What’s the best way to keep paperwork from taking over your desk?
Use a bin or large basket instead of the tiny inboxes that allow clutter to creep onto your desk, says Maureen Gainer, owner of Gainer Organizing in Chicago. “Not filing on time doesn’t really hurt anyone. Realistically, every time you have something to file, you’re not going to open a file and put it in. When you get some spare time, grab your bin, put it right next to you, and start going, going, going.”
